​First Mobile Stroke Unit in Australia

EPIC-X is proud to have installed and provide ongoing service and maintenance for the CereTom® mobile CT Scanner in Australia’s first Mobile Stroke Unit. In November 2017, Victoria was the first state to build and launch a specialist stroke ambulance equipped with a CT scanner.

​The Mobile Stroke Unit delivers stroke diagnosis and treatment to the patient’s driveway. A CT scanner on board allows the specialist medical team to commence stroke treatment on the spot and is already yielding positive patient outcomes.

EPIC-X is working closely with LifeHealthcare (CT scanner supplier) to provide technical consulting and services to ensure 100% uptime of the CT Scanner in this challenging mobile environment
